Yom Haatzmaut
With great joy we celebrated Yom Haatzmaut in our Community, the 61 anniversary of the establishment of State of Israel. Also over the weekend we had the honor to receive the visit of Rabbi Juan Mejia from the USA. So we spent the Shabatón that began with Shabbat Kabalat officiated by Rabbi Mejia, who also has done a great communitary Kidush. Our Synagogue, exalted by those who visit us, showed an important number ofpeople.
Our thanks to those who organized this event. With their ability, creativity, work, tenacity and good will the event was a success.
Our thanks to members and non members that with their assistance, both to the synagogue and the event room, made possible the celebration.
And finally our most sincere and respectful gratitude to Rabbi Juan Mejia, who did many hours of flight for a very short stay in Alicante, without whoom our party and religious services wouldn't have been so succesful.
